A.A. Jasdenvala Library
This library boasts a proud legacy of over five decades and came into being through the efforts of Sir Homi Mody, former President of the Club. It is the main lending facility of the club for books and CDs. Located in the West Stand corridor, it is fully air-conditioned, containing over 15,000 books and encompassing more than 25 categories. It has elaborate collections under Fiction, General Knowledge, Computers, Sports, Cookery, Management, Photography, Travel, and Religion to name a few.
Members can avail of this facility at a nominal annual charge of Rs.150/- and even read or take notes within the premises. It also has two free internet terminals open to all members regardless of their library membership. The books are continuously updated with 50-75 new arrivals every month. Books and CDs can be borrowed from the library as per the prescribed rules for number of books/CDs and duration of lending. The books are systematically sorted and displayed as per the Dewy Decimal Classification System. The functioning of the library would in due course be upgraded to a fully computerized system.
